Learn the Techniques & Skills Involved in Effectively Planning, Managing and Facilitating Meetings 

This two-day, hands-on, skill building workshop provides the opportunity to practice writing meaningful agendas, facilitating and managing effective meetings, and delegating tasks as appropriate. It will include lectures, demonstrations, and practice activities (individual and group). Each participant receives a workbook full of helpful aids.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

You will learn how to:

  • Determine whether a meeting is even necessary

  • Structure an agenda to cover the most important issues

  • Create a safe atmosphere to make participants comfortable

  • Keep the group focused on agenda, without being overbearing

  • Keep the meeting flowing, making the time well spent

  • Ensure everyone gets a chance to fully participate

  • Generate the maximum number of ideas from the group

  • Identify and prioritize the best ideas and solutions

  • Build consensus and bring closure with action steps

  • Deal with conflict in meetings
