(28) BENCHMARKING FOR IMPROVED PERFORMANCE

                                                KUALA LUMPUR    l 16-17 June 2008

A Vital Tool to Improve Your Competitiveness

Today, companies in pursuit of world class excellence use benchmarking to measure themselves against the best-in-class in quality and performance.

Benchmarking is a systematic method for comparing every aspect of your operation to the best-in-class. But its benefits go well beyond analyzing the process by which things are made or services are performed.

Benchmarking allows you to choose companies by specific areas of excellence. Benchmark one company for order fulfillment or strategic planning, another for shipping or warehousing.

This intensive 2-day course will give you a firm grasp of the benchmarking process through a hands-on interactive format.

This workshop will help you:

  1. Identify where and how to begin in your organization - this is half the battle and the first step in this course, identify the steps that make a benchmarking process successful.

  2. Incorporate benchmark goals with organizational goals - remember, even if you are benchmarking a company that is very similar, your operation is still unique.

  3. Make the important decision of how much time and effort will be devoted to the benchmarking process. Some corporations spend heavily to perform benchmarking, but this course will show you how to get good results quickly, even with limited resources.
